Keynote (Nasdaq: KEYN) 46.5% HIGHER; entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by an affiliate of leading private equity investment firm Thoma Bravo, LLC in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $395 million. Under the terms of the agreement, pending shareholder approval, Keynote stockholders will receive $20.00 in cash for each share of Keynote common stock. This represents an approximately 48% premium over the company's closing price on June 21, 2013.
Golden Minerals Company (AMEX: AUMN) 20.0% LOWER; announced that it has suspended operations at its Velardena mine as of June 21, 2013, in order to conserve the asset until operating plans and prices for silver and gold indicate a sustainable cash margin for operations. Isis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: ISIS) 19.7% HIGHER; announced that data from the Phase 2 study of ISIS-APOCIIIRx in patients with high triglycerides and type 2 diabetes were presented today at the American Diabetes Association Scientific Sessions in Chicago. In this study, patients treated with ISIS-APOCIIIRx experienced an 88 percent reduction in apolipoprotein C-III (apoC-III), a 72 percent reduction in triglyceride levels, a 40 percent increase in high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), the 'good' cholesterol, and improvements in other atherogenic lipid parameters. In addition, patients dosed with ISIS-APOCIIIRx showed consistent trends toward enhanced insulin sensitivity with improvements in multiple measures of glucose control. Isis is also evaluating ISIS-APOCIIIRx in a separate Phase 2 study in patients with moderate to severe high triglycerides and plans to report data from this study this summer.
Solazyme, Inc. (Nasdaq: SZYM) 19.3% LOWER; Solazyme and Roquette FrÃ¨res, S.A. agreed to dissolve their joint venture, Solazyme Roquette Nutritionals, LLC, in accordance with Articles 20 and 21 of the Joint Venture and Operating Agreement of Solazyme Roquette Nutritionals, LLC dated November 3, 2010, by and between Roquette and the Company, as filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission as Exhibit 10.10 to Amendment No. 2 to the Companyâs Form S-1 Registration Statement on April 13, 2011. The Company expects the formal dissolution to occur in the coming weeks.
Mediabistro Inc. (Nasdaq: MBIS) 17.3% LOWER; made a public statement regarding recent unusual trading activity in its common stock. The Mediabistro common stock traded as high as $2.85 per share on unusually high volume last week, and closed at $1.73 on Friday, June 21, 2013. The Company noted that, in addition to other measures in effect that are designed to protect long-term stockholder value, Chairman and CEO Alan Meckler continues to own approximately 40% of the Companyâs outstanding stock. Also as disclosed in its filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Mr. Meckler has loaned the Company approximately $7.6 million secured by a first lien on all assets of the Company. This debt may be accelerated and immediately payable in full in the event of a change in control of the Company.

Shares hit $16.66 on June 19th, a gain of 39 percent since the start of the month. Shares sold off last Friday and are down again today, virtually erasing all the gains for the month.
