Synaptics (NASDAQ: SYNA) 11.9% HIGHER;raised its outlook for the fourth quarter ending June 30, 2013. Synaptics expects to report net revenue in the range of $227 million to $230 million for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2013, an increase at the mid-point of approximately 66% year-over-year and 40% sequentially. The expected net revenue range exceeds the high end of the previously provided outlook of $190 million to $205 million. Gross margin for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2013 is expected to be approximately 50%. *** The Street sees Q4 EPS of $0.95 and revs of $198.2 million
First Cash Financial Services (NASDAQ: FCFS) 9.9% LOWER; The Company projects second quarter earnings to be in the range of $0.52 to $0.55 per diluted share. This estimate includes approximately $0.04 per share of non-recurring acquisition expenses, primarily associated with the Valu + Pawn transaction. Excluding the non-recurring acquisition expenses, the Company anticipates second quarter earnings to be in the range of $0.56 to $0.59 per share. The expected second quarter earnings results reflect the negative impact on revenue and scrap jewelry margins caused by significantly lower gold prices and the weaker Mexican peso. Given the continued negative volatility in the price of gold and the Mexican peso, the Company is reducing the mid-point of its fiscal 2013 earnings guidance by approximately 10% from the current consensus forecast of $3.12 per share. The updated full-year guidance projects earnings per share to be in a range of $2.75 to $2.90, compared to previous guidance at the lower end of a range from $3.10 to $3.24. *** The Street sees Q2 EPS of $0.60 and FY13 EPS of $3.12.
Cinedigm Digital Cinema Corp. (NASDAQ: CIDM) 8.5% LOWER; intends to offer and sell, in an underwritten public offering, registered shares of Class A common stock, including a grant to the underwriters of an option for 45 days to purchase additional shares of Class A common stock.
Nova Measuring Instruments Ltd (Nasdaq: NVMI) 5.6% HIGHER; announced that a leading edge memory manufacturer recently placed a significant order for multiple software licenses of its NovaMARS 3D modeling solution. This order represents a significant milestone in the Company's effort to diversify its product portfolio towards software solutions which cater for the industry's most complicated process challenges.
Apollo Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: APOL) 5.4% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $1.05 vs estimate of $0.85. Revenue for the quarter came in at $946.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $965.07 million. University of Phoenix Degreed Enrollment was 287,500, a 17.0% decrease from the prior year third quarter, and New Degreed Enrollment was 38,900, down 24.5% from third quarter 2012. Operating income was $132.0 million, compared to $221.4 million from the prior year third quarter. Apollo Group, Inc. sees FY2013 revenue of $3.65-3.7 million, versus prior guidance of $3.65-3.75 million and the consensus of $3.71 million.

MGM Resorts (NYSE: MGM) 3.9% HIGHER; Nomura Securities upgraded from Neutral to Buy with a price target of $18.00 (from $16.00), suggesting 31% upside.

Revenue for the quarter came in at $54.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $51.07 million. AeroVironment, Inc. sees FY2014 EPS of $0.35-0.50, versus the consensus of $0.47. AeroVironment, Inc. sees FY2014 revenue of $230-250 million, versus the consensus of $245.06 million.
KeyCorp (NYSE: KEY) 2.5% HIGHER; BMO Capital upgraded from Market Perform to Outperform with a price target of $13.00 (from $10.00)

Monsanto Company (NYSE: MON) 0.7% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $1.66, $0.07 better than the analyst estimate of $1.59. Revenue for the quarter came in at $4.25 billion versus the consensus estimate of $4.41 billion.
General Mills, Inc. (NYSE: GIS) 0.5% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.53, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.53. Revenue for the quarter came in at $4.4 billion versus the consensus estimate of $4.32 billion.
