With so much competition in this field, companies are battling each other in order to scoop up the most talented people. And what better way to prospect for future employees than by offering them a paid internship?

This year’s best paying company for interns is VMware, Inc. (NYSE:VMW), which offers an average monthly pay of $6,536. Not far behind it we have the social media giant Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB), with a little over $6,000. Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) wraps up our top three with $5,936.
