Corey Stoll is in talks to join the growing cast of “This Is Where I Leave You,” an upcoming comedy also featuring Jason Bateman (“Horrible Bosses”).
Shawn Levy (“Night at the Museum”) directs the flick, which is based on a novel by Jonathan Tropper. Tropper also adapted the screenplay.
The plot centers on a dysfunctional family forced together by their father’s death to spend a week together in the house where they grew up for the first time in a decade. Stoll and Bateman play brothers, while Jane Fonda is in talks to play the family’s matriarch.
Tina Fey is also in talks to join the film. Should she do so, she’ll be the final member of the family, playing the role of the older sister, caught in an unhappy marriage.
