Some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are:
Wall Street expects Lennar (NYSE: LEN) to report its Q2 earnings at $0.33 per share on revenue of $1.33 billion. Lennar shares rose 0.11% to $35.03 in after-hours trading.
Demand Media (NYSE: DMD) reported that it has bought Society6 for around $94 million in cash and stock. The company also cut its revenue forecast for the second quarter. Demand Media shares fell 1.68% to close at $8.17 yesterday.
Analysts are expecting Carnival (NYSE: CCL) to have earned $0.06 per share on revenue of $3.55 billion in the second quarter. Carnival shares gained 0.42% to $33.36 in after-hours trading.
Sonic (NASDAQ: SONC) reported a 3% rise in its net income for the fiscal third quarter. Sonic shares declined 3.88% to $13.64 in the after-hours trading session.
Analysts expect Walgreen Co (NYSE: WAG) to report its Q3 earnings at $0.91 per share on revenue of $18.43 billion. Walgreen shares gained 0.21% to $48.15 in after-hours trading.
