Google (Nasdaq: GOOG) (Nasdaq: GOOGL) is allegedly boxing-out Apple Music from some of its search results.
TechCrunch noted Monday that Google’s Play Now
ad unit, which offers several streaming music options when searching for a song, doesn’t include Apple’s new service. Other options include Google Play Music, Spotfy, Amazon, and a few others.
It wasn’t made clear why Google chooses to go with certain services (being compensated for the placement?) or that Google isn’t afraid of certain competition.
Whether or not Google will update its search algorithms to include Apple is still unknown. But, most agree that Apple doesn’t
