Saturday was a day for the history books.

NASA launched astronauts into space on a commercially built rocket and commercially built crew capsule.

SpaceX, the aerospace company founded by Tesla (NYSE: TSLA) CEO Elon Musk, had the equipment built.

This marked the first crew launched on American soil since 2011, the year the iconic space shuttle was retired.

But here’s where Tesla gets interesting… Every time Tesla reveals a new electric car, or exceeds expectations, the stock is almost always upgraded or given a price target increase.

This isn’t a new electric car. It’s essentially a successful launch of human beings, using Elon Musk equipment, into outer space…

The technology required to pull this off may be a little unique compared to electric car manufacturing.

I expect Wall Street to take notice – or have already taken notice of this – and make six-figure moves on it today or in the days ahead.

And I want to make a move on it myself.

I see one of two things happening to Tesla’s stock today as the stock opened higher in the premarket off the positive SpaceX catalyst as expected.

Wall Street is a greedy place… it’s possible institutions are already in sizeable bullish positions on Tesla stock itself as a bet the stock would go up, which it did.

They may simply liquidate their positions, or at least some of them, in a “take the money and run move.” In this case I’d want to trade in a “sell the news” mindset.

What this means is below Tesla’s support of $808/share, I’d be interested in making a bearish trade on Tesla as I’d expect bulls to liquidate, and bears to trade its green-to-red move.

Above $808/share on the other hand, and I’ll be watching for call option sweeps and increasing buying volume of the stock itself.

It is possible that Tesla’s initial launch (which was planned to take place on May 27) being postponed was met with doubt that it could launch only three short days later. Therefore, many bulls may have sat out over the weekend, and be looking for a second chance as soon as today’s opening bell.

In this case, should Tesla be met with buyers while trading above $808/share and see a larger increase in price-per-share today, I’ll be interested in making a bullish trade on it, right alongside Wall Street’s deepest pockets.

Let me know how you do today!
