1. Wayfair (W) was upgraded to Equal Weight from Underweight at Barclays and to Neutral from Underperform at DA Davidson.
2. GoDaddy (GDDY) upgraded to Strong Buy from Outperform at Raymond James and to Overweight from Neutral at JPMorgan.
3. Square (SQ) upgraded to Neutral from Sell at Compass Point with analyst Mike Del Grosso saying the company’s Q2 revenue of $1.92B beat his estimate of $1.02B as the Seller business’ results were more resilient than he anticipated.
4. Generac (GNRC) upgraded to Buy from Neutral at BofA with analyst Ross Gilardi saying the 4M homes whose power was knocked out by Tropical Storm Isaias was the “icing on the cake” to the 30% organic growth in its home standby business that the company reported in Q2.
5. Etsy (ETSY) upgraded to Buy from Neutral at Roth Capital with analyst Darren Aftahi saying the company’s Q2 numbers and Q3 guidance “well-exceeded” expectations and COVID trends have continued into Q3.
