Advisor Research on Nvidia Surges as Many Buy-the-Dip on Deal News

Nvidia (NVDA) shares have more than doubled this year, but at roughly $505, the stock is also down 14.4% from early-September all-time highs. The company last week announced plans to buy British chipmaker Arm Holdings from Softbank for $40 billion and, if approved, the deal would represent the largest-ever buyout in the chip sector. The report triggered a rally in Nvidia shares Monday and Tuesday, and the ticker also saw a surge of research activity among financial advisors, according to TrackStarIQ rankings.
