CarGurus (CARG) upgraded to Buy from Neutral at BTIG with analyst Marvin Fong saying with auto dealer fundamentals “looking very firm,” the stock offers an attractive risk/reward profile at current levels. 2. Reliance Steel (RS) upgraded to Buy from Neutral at BofA with analyst Timna Tanners saying he sees the stock as a “defensive long in an uncertain environment” and expects the company to pursue “imminent cash deployment.” 3. Seagate (STX) upgraded to Buy from Hold at Benchmark with analyst Mark Miller saying he has raised his rating based on the company’s September quarter earnings upside, its higher December quarter guidance and indications of improved demand in the enterprise segment. 4. Lindsay (LNN) upgraded to Neutral from Sell at Monness Crespi with analyst Chris Shaw saying although he still believes the stock is overvalued, he also believes there is no meaningful headwind over the near-term for Lindsay. Mattel (MAT) upgraded to Buy from Neutral at DA Davidson with analyst Linda Bolton Weiser saying the company reported an “outstanding” set of Q3 results, boosting her confidence in Mattel CEO execution.
