Fly Intel: Top five analyst upgrades

Catch up on today’s top five analyst upgrades with this list compiled by The Fly:

1. Disney (DIS) upgraded to Buy from Neutral at UBS with analyst John Hodulik saying Disney is positioned to achieve scale similar to streaming leader Netflix (NFLX) with 340M-plus global subscribers by 2024.

2. Fortinet (FTNT) upgraded to Buy from Neutral at BTIG with analyst Gray Powell saying recent channel checks were good as partners indicated that FTNT continues to gain share with larger enterprise customers and commentary around win rates in the SD-WAN market were encouraging.

3. BBVA (BBVA) upgraded to Buy from Neutral at BofA with analyst Marta Sanchez Romero saying the company is in a strong position to start returning excess capital to shareholders following the disposal of its U.S. arm.

4. U.S. Bancorp (USB) upgraded to Buy from Neutral at Citi with Keith Horowitz saying U.S. Bancorp is a good way to play an the improving economy given its larger payments business and benefits of a steeper curve.

5. American Outdoor Brands (AOUT) upgraded to Outperform from Neutral at Wedbush with analyst James Hardiman saying when coupled with a “red-hot” firearm accessories business with a long replenishment tail that is showing no signs of slowing in early 2021, Hardiman believes American Outdoor has significant room for both EPS upside and multiple expansion.
