Altice USA is exploring the sale of Suddenlink, which provides cable and internet in the south-central U.S., Gillian Tan and Liana Baker of Bloomberg report, citing people familiar with the matter. Altice USA is working with Goldman Sachs on the potential sale that could fetch as much as $20B, sources told Bloomberg. Altice USA has begun soliciting interest from potential suitors of Suddenlink, which has EBITDA of about $1.3B, the sources added. Altice USA shares jumped 6% to $9.71 before halting for volatility following the report.
