Wayfair just downgraded at Wedbush, here’s why

Wedbush downgraded Wayfair to Neutral from Outperform with a price target of $44, down from $45. The company’s sales have consistently outperformed the market, but there is limited room for a reacceleration due to slowing share gains in 2025 without significant investment, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Wedbush also sees downside risk from tariffs given Wayfair’s high exposure to imports and price-sensitive mass consumer market base. This leaves limits upside to consensus estimates and downside risk to margins, contends Wedbush.
