Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) (NYSE: SAI) announced today it was awarded a prime contract by the United States Army to provide information technology (IT) design, implementation and operational sustainment support services to the Department of the Army (DA) G2 Army Military Intelligence (MI) Enterprise (DA GAME). The single-award task order has a one-year base period of performance, two one-year options, one six-month option, and a total contract value of approximately $149 million, if all options are exercised. The task order was awarded under the Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise (SITE) contract vehicle.
The Army MI Enterprise provides timely, relevant, accurate, and synchronized intelligence and electronic warfare support to tactical, operational and strategic-level commanders. Under the contract, SAIC will provide IT design, implementation and operational sustainment support services, including IT repair, maintenance, operations, logistics, and engineering services to ensure secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of Army MI Enterprise IT systems.
