A private index measuring inflation in Australia was down 0.1 percent on month in November, a survey from TD Securities revealed on Monday, easing for the first time in five months after adding 0.1 percent in October.
On a yearly basis, inflation was up 2.5 percent after rising 2.4 percent in the previous month.
The trimmed mean was flat on month, the data showed, and up 2.4 percent on year.
