Geo Group, Inc. (NYSE: GEO) 6% HIGHER; declared a special dividend of $5.68 per share
Einstein Noah Restaurant Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: BAGL) 4% HIGHER; declared a special dividend of $4.00 per share. Also, ends strategic review with no sale.
QR Energy, LP (NYSE: QRE) 4% LOWER; commenced an underwritten public offering of 12,000,000 common units representing limited partner interests in QRE. QR Energy intends to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1,800,000 common units.
Smith & Wesson Holding Corp. (NASDAQ: SWHC) 3% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.24, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.24. Revenue for the quarter came in at $136.56 million versus the consensus estimate of $134.78 million. Smith & Wesson Holding Corp. sees Q2 2013 EPS of $0.19-0.21, versus the consensus of $0.16. Smith & Wesson Holding Corp. sees Q2 2013 revenue of $126-131 million, versus the consensus of $125.2 million. Smith & Wesson Holding Corp. sees FY2013 EPS of $1.00-1.05, versus prior guidance of $0.85-0.90 and the consensus of $0.91. Smith & Wesson Holding Corp. sees FY2013 revenue of $550-560 million, versus prior guidance of $530-540 million and the consensus of $537.94 million.

Esterline Technologies Corp. sees Q1 2013 EPS of $0.45-0.60, which may not compare to the consensus of $1.15. Esterline Technologies Corp. sees Q1 2013 revenue of $450-480 million, versus the consensus of $497.7 million. Esterline Technologies Corp. sees FY2013 EPS of $5.45-5.80, versus the consensus of $5.54.
Netflix (Nasdaq: NFLX) 1% LOWER; the company and CEO Reed Hastings received a Wells notice from the U.S. SEC. The notice was over a regulation FD violation. The notice was related to lack of disclosure following a Facebook post that users enjoyed “nearly a billion hours per month” of Netflix.
