Thunderbird Resorts Inc. (THRSF.PK) on Monday said it has named Salomon Guggenheim President and CEO. He will retain his position as Chairman of the Board of Directors.
The company added that Peter LeSar, who was appointed interim CEO and President in June 2012, will retain his position as CFO.
Guggenheim has worked closely with Management since 2002 when he first joined the company as director. Previously, he joined Gutzwiller & Partner Ltd., Zurich, a portfolio management company, where he was responsible for Investments and Trading. In 1991, Guggenheim gained control over Gutzwiller & Partner, which was renamed Rabo Investment Management Ltd., where he worked as a Managing Director until December 2001.
Since 2001 and up to 2012, he owned and operated his own company, IC Day Trading Consulting Corp., a Swiss-based company for advisement of private individuals in portfolio management and daily trading activities.
Guggenheim was also the Chief Executive Officer for Ecopowerstations Ltd., and that tenure ended in 2011 when the company was sold. Guggenheim currently serves in various companies as a board member.
