Brad Paisley is among the group of performers set to help President Barack Obama celebrate his second inauguration. The country superstar will join Katy Perry, Smokey Robinson, Usher, Marc Anthony, Stevie Wonder and Alicia Keys at the Capitol building in Washington, D.C. on January 21.
Paisley and the rest join already announced acts Beyoncé, Kelly Clarkson, James Taylor and Cuban poet Roberto Blanco.
The Inaugural Ball, as it has been dubbed, is expected to draw over 35,000 people eager to celebrate the incumbent’s victory this past fall.
Planners for the event offered a limited number of tickets to The Inaugural Ball for sale at $60, and they sold out quickly Sunday (January 13) when Ticketmaster accidentally sent out an email ahead of time announcing they were available.
