GAINESVILLE, FL — (Marketwire) — 01/15/13 — Quick-Med Technologies, Inc. (OTCQB: QMDT) announced today that its Board of Directors (the “Board”) appointed Paul H. Jenssen as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer and corporate secretary, effective as of January 10, 2013. He replaces Nam H. Nguyen, whom Quick-Med wishes to thank for his contributions and years of service, and who will provide active support for the transition.
Mr. Jenssen has 35 years of experience in strategic planning, process improvement, finance and accounting. He started his career at Deloitte Touche (1978-1984) before becoming Treasurer at Associated Press (1984-1998). In addition to working as a consultant since 1998, he was the CFO, COO and a Senior Managing Director at Rothschild North America investment bank (1998-2006). He is a CPA, has an MBA with highest honors from Columbia University in New York and has held several securities licenses. He is also an engaged member of the community and has worked in several teaching positions.
