BB Biotech AG (BBAGF.PK) Wednesday said it swung to profit for its fiscal 2012, helped mainly by favorable investment strategy pursued by BB Biotech with clearly defined areas of focus.
The company reported a full-year profit of 368 million Swiss francs, compared to a loss of 146 million francs in the previous year.
However, general profit-taking in the market towards the end of the year led to a loss of 134 million francs for the quarter.
