Italy’s industrial new orders and turnover declined at a faster pace in November, data released by the statistical agency ISTAT showed on Friday.
The industrial new orders index decreased a seasonally adjusted 6.7 percent year-on-year, after falling 0.1 percent in October. New orders have been declining since September 2011.
Month-on-month, orders dropped 0.5 percent in November, following a 0.1 percent gain in the previous month. Domestic market orders fell 1.8 percent, while foreign booking rose 1.3 percent.
Industrial turnover declined 5.4 percent year-on-year in November, after a 4.7 percent decrease in October. Turnover fell 0.2 percent during the month, equaling the drop from the previous month.
