State Street Corp. (STT: Quote) reported fourth quarter operating EPS of $1.11 Friday morning, up from $0.93 in the prior year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $1.00.
State Street gapped up Friday and has spiked higher in early trade. Shares are now up 2.37 at $52.75. The stock has been gaining ground for the last month and a half and has set a new high for the year.
