The average asking price for a house in the United Kingdom was unchanged in January, property tracking website Hometrack said on Monday.
That follows the 0.1 percent slide in December and halts a string of six straight months of decline.
The number of new buyers registering with agents dropped 9.9 percent on month, while the number of properties listed was down 6.8 percent.
On a yearly basis, prices were down 0.3 percent – unchanged from the previous month.
