The scholarship is available to all U.S. students currently enrolled or enrolling in the Fall 2013 at the one of the following accredited community colleges: Students should be enrolled in, or planning to pursue a credit based certificate, associate, bachelor’s or master’s degree in one of the programs of study:

Engineering or Engineering Technology Electrical, Mechanical, Welding, Manufacturing or Construction Curriculum

Applicants must be a high school senior or student currently enrolled in one of the above listed programs with a minimum 2.5 GPA.

Applications, available at www.teamhgr.com/scholarship, must be postmarked no later than March 30, 2013 HGR buys and sells used industrial equipment, manufacturing machinery and surplus items. With its network of buyers located throughout the eastern U.S., HGR inspects and purchases more than 3,000 truckloads of machines, tooling and just about anything that is used in the manufacturing environment. HGR Industrial Surplus offers one of the largest selections of used CNC equipment, grinders, presses, shears, motors, pumps, hydraulic equipment, valves, machining centers and lathes.
