Radware Ltd. (RDWR: Quote), a provider of application delivery and application security solutions, Tuesday reported higher fourth-quarter profit, reflecting higher revenue, with adjusted earnings in line with analyst estimates.
For the quarter, the company posted net income of $9.11 million or $0.39 per share, up from $6.62 million or $0.29 per share reported last year.
Excluding items, on a non-GAAP basis, the firm recorded earnings per share of $0.48 for the three-month period.
Seven analysts on average polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings per share of $0.48 for the period. Analyst estimates typically exclude one-time items.
Radware clocked revenue of $49.83 million, up 11 percent from $45.1 million a year ago, but came in below the consensus estimate of $50.14 million.
Looking ahead, Roy Zisapel president and chief executive officer said, “Despite a year of ongoing macro-economic uncertainty, we are pleased by our solid execution in meeting critical industry demands and look for these IT growth trends to continue in 2013.”
