3D Systems (NYSE: DDD) announced that a panel of judges at this year’s National Association of Music Merchants, the NAMM show, voted 3D Systems “Best in Show” adding the company’s 3D printers and 3D printed guitars to its “Hottest Products List” for 2013.
As a first time exhibitor at NAMM, 3D Systems introduced a new, one-of-a-kind 3D printed guitar, the Americana, embedding the rich details of New York City’s most memorable landmarks in the body of a Les Paul® inspired, electric guitar, clad by the stars and stripes. Designed by renowned Cubify® artist Olaf Diegel, the Americana masterpiece guitar was on display along with the company’s award winning Cube® 3D printer and Cubify apps throughout the NAMM show in Anaheim, CA, last week.
