The rally continued on Wall Street Thursday. According to the Labor Department, initial jobless claims fell by 7,000 to hit 340,000 in the week ended March 2nd. A second report from the Labor Department showed a steep drop off in productivity in the fourth quarter. The deficit rose to $44.4 billion in January, up nearly 17% from December.
