BioScrip, Inc. (BIOS: Quote) Monday reported fourth-quarter profit of $7.18 million, up from $6.71 million in the comparable period last year. On a per-share basis, earnings were $0.12, flat with last year. Net loss from continuing operations totaled $1.42 million or $0.03 per share, compared to a profit of 2.57 million or $0.05 per share last year.
On average, four analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.01 per share for the quarter. Analysts’ estimates typically exclude special items.
Revenues totaled $180.74 million, up from $158.27 million last year. Analysts expected revenues of $173.87 million.
Looking ahead to the fiscal year 2013, the company has forecast revenues in the range of $830.0 million to $865.0 million. Analysts currently expect full-year revenues of $769.95 million.
