Swedish consumer prices declined 0.2 percent year-on-year in February after remaining unchanged in the previous month, data from Statistics Sweden showed Tuesday.
The outcome matched economists’ forecast. On a monthly basis, however, the consumer price index (CPI) rose 0.4 percent as expected.
The core inflation rate was 0.9 percent in February. The core measure rose 0.5 percent between January and February. The harmonized index of consumer prices rose 0.6 percent from previous month and was up 0.5 percent year-on-year.
