For those waiting for the first QWERTY keypad device to run BlackBerry’s (Nasdaq: BBRY) new operating system: the wait may soon be over.
The U.K. Inquirer notes that Carphone Warehouse updated its website showing the new Q10 becoming available in March 2013. Expectations were largely calling for an April release date.
Pricing or a specific date weren’t announced, but expectations generally hover around a similar price to the full-touch Z10 handset.
Conversely, the Inquirer said that the Q10 will, in fact, launch in April. That said, Carphone Warehouse may just be prepping for presales heading into the launch. There’s a thin line between March 31st and April 1st, after all.
Shares of BlackBerry are down 3.7 percent, but off of session lows Tuesday.
