Rihanna was granted a three-year restraining order against a man she claims was stalking her. A California judge ordered that Steveland Barrow must stay at least 100 yards away from Riri as well as her home and work during the time period.
Barrow was arrested last month after he broke into a house near the “We Found Love” singer’s Los Angeles residence, thinking that it belonged to her.
When arrested, he claimed that he had been invited to Rihanna’s home and wanted to give some poetry to her. Police say that he stole “a few personal items” from the house and slept in a bed he thought was hers.
Barrow’s actions caused Rihanna “substantial emotional distress and concern for her personal safety,” her lawyer Miles Cooley told the court.
