Sonic Automotive, Inc. (SAH: Quote) Wednesday said it has promoted Heath Byrd from Chief Information Officer to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
Before joining Sonic Automotive, Byrd held several positions at HR America including President, COO and CFO. Prior to his tenure at HR America, Byrd was a manager at Ernst & Young where he consulted in financial strategy and mergers & acquisitions.
