TalkTalk Telecom Group PLC (TALK.L) Thursday posted lower profit for the full-year amidst declined revenue. The company further provided outlook for the fiscal 2014.
For the period, the firm posted profit before tax of 122 million pounds, down from 127 million pounds last year. Net income for the year was 100 million pounds, down from 138 million pounds reported a year earlier.
On a statutory basis earnings per share were 10.6 pence, down from 14.9 pence last year. On a headline basis earnings were 14 pence per share down from 17.2 pence per share last year. On an underlying basis however, earnings per share were 19.4 pence, up from 16.4 pence last year.
The firm clocked revenue of 1.67 billion pounds, down from 1.687 billion reported last year, impacted by lower off-net revenue. Off-net revenue for the period was 178 million pounds, down from 287 million pounds reported last year.
The company has further declared a final dividend of 6.95 pence, payable on August 2, for shareholders of record on July 5.
Looking ahead, for the full-year, the firm said it sees revenue growing by at least 2 percent while reiterating its commitment to grow the dividend by a minimum of 15 percent.
