Jeremy R. Frankel, FHA/HUD Originator Rejoins Ziegler

Ziegler Financing Corporation (ZFC), the HUD-insured mortgage lending arm of Ziegler, is pleased to announce that Jeremy Frankel has rejoined the firm and will be responsible for originating mortgage-banking business for multifamily and senior care assets nationwide. Jeremy was originally with Ziegler from 2007 to 2011 and worked on several landmark HUD-insured transactions while with the firm.

Bill Mulligan, President of ZFC stated, âWe are excited to have Jeremy back on the Ziegler team. Since leaving Ziegler, Jeremy picked up additional valuable experience that he is excited to share as we continue to grow our HUD/FHA business. With his underwriting background, Jeremy has a very good sense of what types of projects meet HUD financing requirements and how to navigate transactions expeditiously through the process.â

Prior to joining Ziegler, Jeremy was a director for a nationwide mortgage banking firm, where he was responsible for originating agency (Fannie Mae DUS and FHA MAP), CMBS, and structured finance (bridge, mezzanine, and preferred equity) transactions.

Jeremy began his career as a multifamily and senior care underwriter in 1998, and has been directly involved in over $750M in HUD/Agency Financings over the course of his career. He has received full authorization from HUD to underwrite multifamily housing under HUDâS Multifamily Accelerated Processing (MAP) Program, assisted living, board and care, and skilled nursing facilities under HUDâs LEAN program, and hospitals under HUDâs 242 Hospital Mortgage Insurance Program.
