Intuitive Surgical, Inc. (Nasdaq: ISRG) 15.3% LOWER; announced certain preliminary second quarter 2013 financial results. The Company expects revenue for the second quarter of 2013 of approximately $575 million, up approximately 7% from $537 million for the second quarter of 2012. The Company expects second quarter 2013 net income of approximately $160 million compared with $155 million for the second quarter of 2012. The Street is looking for revs of $630 million.
WD-40 Co (NASDAQ: WDFC) 11% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.66, $0.10 better than the analyst estimate of $0.56. Revenue for the quarter came in at $93.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $89.45 million. WD-40 Co sees FY2013 EPS of $2.40-2.48, versus the consensus of $2.39. WD-40 Co sees FY2013 revenue of $356-370 million, versus the consensus of $359.14 million.
Wolverine World Wide (NYSE: WWW) 8% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.46, $0.12 better than the analyst estimate of $0.34. Revenue for the quarter came in at $587.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $591.03 million. Sees FY2013 EPS of $2.60-$2.75, versus prior guidance of $2.50-$2.65 and the consensus of $2.69
Amarin Corporation plc (Nasdaq: AMRN) 6.8% LOWER; announced that it is offering to sell 21,700,000 American Depositary Shares (“ADSs”) in an underwritten public offering. Amarin has also granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase an additional 3,255,000 ADSs.
YY Inc, (NASDAQ: YY) 5.6% HIGHER; Piper Jaffray upgraded from Neutral to Overweight with a price target of $40.00
AmeriGas Partners, L.P. (NYSE: APU) 5.6% LOWER; announced today that Heritage ETC, L.P. (the Selling Unitholder), an affiliate of Energy Transfer Partners, L.P., has priced a public underwritten offering of 7,500,000 AmeriGas common units at a price to the public of $47.60 per unit.
Royal Bank of Scotland (NYSE: RBS) 5% HIGHER; Goldman Sachs upgraded from Neutral to Buy. Analyst Frederik Thomasen sees potential return of 28%.
ScanSource, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCSC) 4.5% LOWER; announced that sales results for its quarter ended June 30, 2013 are expected to be in the range of $707 million to $717 million, compared to $683 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2013 and $754 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2012. On its August 22, 2013 quarter-end and fiscal year-end conference call, ScanSource executives will provide sales results by geographies and product areas, net earnings, and a forecast for the following quarter. (Street sees revenue of $724.15)

IBM (NYSE: IBM) 1.5% LOWER; Goldman Sachs downgraded from Buy to Neutral with a price target of $200.00 (from $220.00) citing choppier performance ahead.
Barnes & Noble, Inc. (NYSE: BKS) 1.5% LOWER; William Lynch has resigned as Chief Executive Officer and director of the Company effective immediately. The Company also announced the following organizational changes: Michael P. Huseby has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of NOOK Media LLC and President of Barnes & Noble, Inc. Max J. Roberts, Chief Executive Officer of Barnes & Noble College will continue to lead the digital education strategy and report to Mr. Huseby, as will the Executive Management team of NOOK Media. Mr. Huseby and Mitchell Klipper, Chief Executive Officer of the Barnes & Noble Retail Group, will report directly to Leonard Riggio, Executive Chairman of Barnes & Noble, Inc
Harris Teeter Supermarkets, Inc. (NYSE: HTSI) 1% HIGHER; The Kroger Co. and Harris Teeter Supermarkets, Inc. announced a definitive merger agreement under which Kroger will purchase all outstanding shares of Harris Teeter for $49.38 per share in cash.
UniPixel (NASDAQ: UNXL) 1% HIGHER; received notice of the voluntary dismissal of a class action complaint that was filed on June 5, 2013 in the Southern District of New York by Marco Meneghetti individually and on behalf of all others similarly situated.
Alcoa, Inc. (NYSE: AA) 0.5% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.07, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.06. Revenue for the quarter came in at $5.85 billion versus the consensus estimate of $5.83 billion.
