Comparable store sales increased 9% during the first quarter (comparable store sales include stores open in both the current and prior period and are expressed at a constant exchange rate).
Inovio Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NYSE: INO) 17.8% HIGHER; announced peer-reviewed publication of results from two phase I trials (HVTN 070 and HVTN 080) of its PENNVAX-B preventive HIV DNA vaccine delivered with a DNA adjuvant and with or without Inovio’s proprietary CELLECTRA electroporation delivery device. The studies were conducted by the HIV Vaccine Trials Network (HVTN).
Nu Skin Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE: NUS) 16.8% HIGHER; said it now sees Q2 EPS of about $1.20, while boosting FY13 EPS expectations to $4.85 to $5.00 and revs to $2.83 billion to $2.86 billion. The Street sees Q2 EPS of $0.96 and revs of $579.1 million. FY13 EPS is expected to be $4.29 with revs of $2.54 billion.
Neogenomics Inc. (Nasdaq: NEO) 16.2% LOWER; lower again for the second session and seeing a sharper drop below the $3.50 – $3.60 support level. Volume is extremely heavy today.
Neonode, Inc. (Nasdaq: NEON) 14.3% HIGHER; up on positive chatter today. About 18.2 percent of public float is being held short.
NII Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: NIHD) 12.6% HIGHER; NII announced bringing PRIP to the U.S. on Monday, though there was little reaction to the move until today. Shares are getting hung up on the $7 price level.
Stemline Therapeutics (Nasdaq: STML) 12.2% HIGHER; FMR LLC reported holding a 1,482,956 share, or 11.93 percent, stake in the company.
Alon USA Energy (NYSE: ALJ) 9.3% LOWER; Macquarie trims Alon from Neutral to Underperform today.
Bio-Reference Laboratories (Nasdaq: BRLI) 9.2% LOWER; William Blair cut its rating on Bio-Reference from Outperform to Market Perform.
Rackspace Hosting (NYSE: RAX) 9.3% LOWER; is seeing pressure on more pricing pressure from Amazon.com, which announced a price reduction of up to 80 percent on Amazon EC2 Dedicated Instances.
China Recycling Energy Corporation (Nasdaq: CREG) 8.4% LOWER; investors taking a little profit today following a 58 percent run the last three sessions.
