Merger talks between Sprint (S) and T-Mobile (TMUS) continue despite reports earlier in the week saying they are dead, CNBC’s David Faber reports. While the deal talk lost momentum over price and governance issues, the two companies remain engaged in the hopes of reaching a deal over the next couple of weeks, Faber adds. His sources indicate Deutsche Telekom (DTEGY) will visit SoftBank’s (SFTBY) Maso Son this weekend to discuss the potential merger. Shares of Sprint are up 26c, of 4%, to $6.70 following Faber’s report while T-Mobile is up 76c to $59.06.
