B. Riley FBR analyst Craig Ellis raised his price target for Nvidia to $270 from $250 saying the company’s Q3 results last night and Q4 outlook “surprised significantly higher.” The analyst thinks “forceful growth” spans all the company’s segments longer term as chip, software, and systems competitive advantages are exploited. He sees continued upside to consensus estimates and keeps a Buy rating on shares. The chipmaker in premarket trading is up 4%, or $8.18, to $213.50.
