Vertex Pharmaceuticals disclosed that on December 13, Thomas Graney notified the company that he is resigning as Chief Financial Officer effective immediately. Graney will continue as an employee and assist in the transition through February 2019. Ian Smith, Vertex’s Chief Operating Officer and former CFO, assumed the additional role of interim CFO on December 13.
