Wells Fargo (WFC) is in talks to hire former Goldman Sachs (GS) President and co-COO Harvey Schwartz as its next CEO, taking over from current CEO Tim Sloan, The New York Post’s Kevin Dugan reports, citing two people briefed on the talks. According to one source, Schwartz is up against one other “serious” contender for the Wells role.
