Cannabis is known to have positive effects on health, both physical and mental, and one company that knows this is Boulder, Colorado-based Suma Inc. (OTC:SRNA). The company is sponsoring what it calls Operation Cannabis: Bash for Veterans’ Cannabis Access. It’s being held next Wednesday, in Las Vegas.
Suma CEO Tony McDonald says his company is dedicated to improving quality of life for U.S. military veterans through the availability of cannabis.
“Cannabis-derived products can benefit these great patriots, and I strongly believe that these products should be available immediately. I am very proud that Surna has partnered with Veterans Cannabis Project to advocate for this cause.”
The project engages in such activities as advocating on behalf of cannabis access for veterans; Educating policymakers and the public about the health benefits of cannabis, supporting veterans across the nation with the resources they need to understand the value of medical cannabis, and informing veterans of their rights and arming them with tools to encourage policy change.
SRNA shares amassed a penny in price, or, 13.5%, to 8.4 cents, on volume nearing a million shares late Tuesday afternoon.
