Papa John’s new CEO does not agree with its prior one. Last week, Papa John’s ex-CEO and founder John Schnatter told a local news station, “I’ve had over 40 pizzas in the last 30 days, and it’s not the same pizza. It’s not the same product. It just doesn’t taste as good. The way they’re making the pizza is just not fundamental to what makes a Papa John’s pizza.” However, when appearing in an interview today on CNBC, the company’s new CEO Rob Lynch said there have been no changes to the way Papa John’s pizza is made. The company’s shares are up 37c to $60.52 in morning trading.
