NY Governor Andrew Cuomo delivered his daily COVID-19 briefing, during which he reported 474 coronavirus-related deaths in the state yesterday vs. 481 virus deaths the previous day. Cuomo reported that hospitalization numbers are coming down, intubations are coming down, and ICU admissions are also down. Commenting on yesterday’s meeting with President Trump, Cuomo said it was a “productive visit at the White House.” Cuomo added, “we have a plan going forward.” Notably, Cuomo said the President has agreed to wave the State/FEMA match and “that’s a very big deal. That’s hundreds of millions of dollars from the State of New York.” The plan to overcome this situation is “Test-Trace-Isolate.” Cuomo remarked, “this operation has never been done before.” During the question and answer portion of the briefing, New York State Department of Health Commissioner Dr. Howard Zucker said Regeneron (REGN) is looking at the antibody testing issue. Dr. Zucker said the state is working closely with Regeneron.
