ClinicalTrials.gov this morning posted Moderna’s Phase 3 clinical trial for its mRNA-1273 vaccine being developed to prevent COVID-19. The study is designed to primarily evaluate the efficacy, safety, and immunogenicity of mRNA-1273 to prevent COVID-19 for up to two years after the second dose of mRNA-1273, according to the post. The study will include 30,000 participants and is expected to start on July 27, 2020. The estimated primary completion date is October 27, 2022. Shares of Moderna are up 68c to $72.46 in morning trading.
