Lowe’s (LOW) is in preliminary discussions to acquire HD Supply Holdings (HDS), according to Bloomberg’s Ed Hammond, citing people familiar with the matter. No final decision has been made and the talks could fall through, the sources added. It is not clear if HD Supply is talking to other suitors.
