Doug Hirsch, while speaking on CNBC, said Amazon.com’s (AMZN) entry into pharmacy is not material to the company “at all.” Amazon is not trying to do retail pharmacy, rather the company has to use a discount card in order to do mail-order, Hirsch told CNBC. Hirsch added that GoodRx’s discount prices beat Amazon’s. Shares of GoodRx are up 11% to $37.63 in early trading.
