Baxter International (BAX) is willing to pay at least $125 per share to acquire Omnicell (OMCL), CNBC’s David Faber reports, citing sources. Omnicell’s board rejected Baxter’s takeover bid and the future of the talks remain unclear, Faber added. He noted that Baxter is not willing to go hostile to make a deal happen. Omnicell in early trading is up 10%, or $11.34, to $121.22 in early trading. Bloomberg last night reported that Baxter made a takeover approach to Omnicell.
