Revenue was $12.68B vs. a consensus of $12.98 billion. Gross margin for the quarter was 54.0% (guidance, 51.5%-53.5%), operating margin was 43.5% (guidance, 40.5%-42.5%) and net profit margin was 39.5%.
Shipments of 5-nanometer accounted for 20% of total wafer revenue; 7- nanometer and 16-nanometer accounted for 29% and 13%, respectively. Advanced technologies, defined as 16-nanometer and more advanced technologies, accounted for 62% of total wafer revenue.Q1 2021 guidance: Revenue, $12.7B-13.0B vs. a consensus of $12.33B; gross margin, 50.5%-52.5%.
