ViacomCBS (VIAC) downgraded to Neutral from Buy at Citi with analyst Jason Bazinet suspecting that the recent rally in the shares is driven, in part, by short covering. 2. Moderna (MRNA) downgraded to Underperform from Neutral at BofA with analyst Geoff Meacham saying with the shares having risen 425% and a further 66% year-to-date in 2021, he sees Moderna being priced for the “best-case,” stating that by his analysis cumulative COVID-19 sales of greater than $85B appear to be reflected at current levels. 3. Virgin Galactic (SPCE) downgraded to Equal Weight from Overweight at Morgan Stanley with analyst Adam Jonas saying he sees very little company specific news to account for the performance and added that he struggles to justify the current price “on space tourism alone.” 5. American Airlines (AAL) downgraded to Neutral from Buy at Seaport Global with analyst Daniel McKenzie saying that while his conviction in the recovery story hasn’t change, there is limited upside to his previous $19 target price.
