CFO Nick Goodman stated, “FFO was $2.8 billion in the first quarter, our highest ever for a quarter. This was a result of strong operating performance, significant realized carried interest, and gains generated from capital recycling initiatives. Brookfield Asset Management Inc.” Net income registered at $3.776 billion, compared to a loss of $157 million in the prior-year quarter. All amounts in U.S. dollars. Brookfield Asset Management Inc. (T.BAM.A ) shares were up $0.80 at 55.08.
